MY AMAZING NZ KIWI

Today the 4th of November we made Kiwi Collages With Mrs Minehan. She showed us a video to teach us how to do it then she said it is our turn to try. First we had to go into google drawings and go on explore. When we did that, we had to write ‘Brown Texture’ into the  explore bar
for a body and a head. We had to mask the shape to make it a circle for the head and the body. For the beak we had to write on the explore ‘Yellow Texture’ and mask it into a triangle and make it thinner and longer so it was the perfect size. Then we could use a different colour yellow or the same yellow as the beak but I used a different one for my legs and my feet. Then we could choose a background and I created mine and made light rainbow colours.

My amazing writing about 1080

My amazing post of transforming an image using a grid!

Today we found an accredited image on Explore and selected it to use on our page. We then put a 5x5 grid on it so we could copy the image and make it original. Mrs Minehan selected the first two images so we could understand the process, then we got to choose our own image. Have you ever tried  to transform an image using a grid? I choose the tree because it looked much easier then the other one witch was the koru.

GEOMETRY SHAPES

I have been  learning how to use geometry shapes to make a pattern and how to draw them as well. I am still trying to make my pentagons, octagons and decagons better when I draw them. What I enjoy about learning about geometry shapes is that you make patterns and try to draw the shapes. What I’ve found challenging that we only get a matter of time to think of what it is and to draw it perfectly.

My Google Maps

On the 27/5/19 Mrs Minehan came in showed us how to use Google My Maps. First we had to think of a place then write it in the search bar. When your location came up you should have some thing saying 'add to map' and if you push that it will come up with a icon pointing to your location.
You can change the colour ,shape or add a photo to the icon. Then once you get the hang of it you can add how many you want to you map.

Super Great Graph

I love to use google spreadsheets it is so fun and easy. We learn't to use google  spreadsheets to make a graph about the number of animals and people. Once I collected all the data I copied and pasted it onto google spreadsheets and pushed the 'make a graph' button to make my graph.
